About altworship

altworship is an event every Sunday evening at Berea Church (PCUSA) in South St. Louis, Mo. Together, we seek a stronger relationship with our higher power, the triple-strength God. Worship leader (and Webmaster) Virginia Gilbert is a 2007 graduate of Eden Theological Seminary and a candidate for the ministry in the Presbyterian Church (USA).

altworship is also an embryonic community of believers, questioners and occasional doubters who want a closer relationship with God, through Jesus Christ. We are seeking to establish that relationship through worship and prayer, study of scripture and participation in the sacraments — together.
